Anuga Meat Cologne 2011
The Swiss meat industry is exhibiting at the Anuga trade fair in Cologne in autumn for the second time. Under the umbrella brand «Swiss Meat» from Proviande, the Swiss Meat Industry Association, four companies exhibited their specialities from 8 to 12 October 2011.

This is where visitors can find out what makes Swiss meat so special. They will be able to taste the unique pleasures and high quality, sample regional specialities and contact the people responsible.
As an approved EU company, Suttero exports various specialities to the EU and the Far East. Above all, air-dried Bündnerfleisch beef is in demand. But also other premium products such as air-dried ham, Appenzeller Mostbröckli beef, the product innovations of Braumeister-Rauch-Schinken ham, and Braumeister-Rauch-Speck bacon are among the traditional exports.
Within the framework of the trade fair, the dried meat products from Michel Ebener will be launched on the German market. For example, Walliser Trockenfleisch is a dried meat based on a secret recipe that includes herbs and salt, and produced from a drying period of at least ten weeks which results in a high quality, low-fat product.
ALBERT SPIESS OF SWITZERLAND, one of several brands of ORIOR AG, stands for exclusive Swiss top quality and maximum culinary enjoyment. With eye-catching packaging and a strong logo, new standards are being set for Bündnerfleisch, the Swiss meat industry's most important export product.

The brand DeliSwiss stands for innovative products, unique flavours, dependable quality and absolutely safe food. This applies to Swiss dried meat, boiled sausage, and poultry specialities, as well as to beef, pork and poultry crisps – as a snack or hors d'oeuvre – which will all be presented for the first time at ANUGA.
Founded in 1890, the company Meinen has always added important accents to the Swiss history of meat and sausage production. Its strengths lie in research and development, as well as in sustainability and the ability to always set new trends. At ANUGA, Meinen AG is presenting the Bergspitzsalami for the first time, a combination of matured meat and finest cheese, covered with a naturally matured edible mould.
